Audrey May Photography™, Maine, USA
Greetings! My name is Audrey May. I grew up in a small Maine town and became interested in art and photography at an early age. As the years went on, my random picture snapping began yielding some interesting and unique pieces.
In addition to photography, I enjoy painting abstract pieces in acrylics, making digital art (from scratch or using my photography), writing fiction (I just finished my first novel and am working on its sequel), as well as designing and making jewelry, handmade books, and other crafts.
I brought my passion for art and photography with me through school. Once I graduated high school, I moved to eastern Maine in order to attend the University of Maine at Machias. I graduated from UMM in May of 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art.
After graduation, I decided it was high time I put my skills and interests to good use. In August of 2008, while I was well into my first year of getting Audrey May Photography™ up and running, I enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography, just to further my knowledge and skills. In July of 2009, I completed my training at the New York Institute of Photography and am now working at my photography business full-time.
As a professional photographer, I work exclusively in digital format. I am mainly a nature/landscape/wildlife/fine art photographer but I work in portraiture of people (both singular and in couples and groups) and pets as well.
As Audrey May Photography™, I strive to capture unique images which will offer you memories to cherish, and enjoyment, for years to come!
