…to be stressed! What a year this has turned out to be. And on top of that, what a holiday season this is. I’ll spare everyone the headache inducing details and leave you with this little post to hold you over until I can prepare something a little more substantial.
Recently I paid a visit to my father and he, my mother, and I took a little trip into New Hampshire. At first we tried to confuse our TomTom GPS by ignoring the turns it told us to take but eventually we gave in and followed it. You could say we battled technology and technology won (isn‘t that how nearly every sci-fi movie starts?).
The TomTom’s fastest route feature took us through the White Mountains of New Hampshire on some back roads that we now know get pretty hairy in the winter. But the scenery along the way was nice. I’ll be interested to take that route next fall.
Anyway, we headed into Colebrook and stopped at the Beaverbrook Falls. I had been there only once before when I was taking my photography course in late 2008 – early 2009. I had never been there in the winter to see the falls frozen solid. It was an interesting sight to see.
I spent a few minutes freezing my fingers and toes off in order to take a few photos to share with all of you. You can see one of them here, and another here.
Until next time folks.
Merry Christmas and have a happy New Year.
