My Domo! MINE!

Not only is my youngest cat spoiled rotten (she even has me trained now that when she’s ready to take a nap, she wants me to follow her and tuck her in like a child [^_^]), but she’s a bit of a thief…

She’s:
* A spot thief (which I established before, both my cats steal my seat whenever I get up).
* A food thief (if I let her, or don’t catch her in time, she’ll eat the canned cat food my older cat doesn’t finish).
* A blanket hog (self explanatory).
* And she even steals stuffed animals to cuddle…

Why do I let her get away with all of it?  Well, she’s just way too cute!

Proof…

My Domo! MINE!

Apparently that’s no longer my Domo doll…

Until next time…

Silly Cat!

My cats are a constant source of entertainment, yet ninety percent of the time they’re not trying and are just doing what cats do.  Be it running aimlessly through the house like they’re chasing something (or being chased), playing with a paper ball instead of the numerous toys that have been bought for them, just rolling around on the floor lookin’ all cute, or whatever the case may be.

For example, my cat Abby in addicted to treats.  I joke that she needs rehab as she tries to scam a treat from everyone and every room in the house.  But she goes a step further where her dry cat food is involved.  She greatly enjoys the “tender middle” type cat food and has a strict “No Kernel Left Behind” policy.

You go get ‘em, Abby!

You Can‘t Catch Me!

Recently, I had several suet bird feeders put up in windows around my house, much to the birds’, and my cats’, delight.

My cat Abby sat in the kitchen window watching chickadees flying to and from the feeder, but one little bird made a bit of a game out of it. It would fly to the feeder, fly back to the power line, fly back to the feeder, then fly to one of the stings I have stretched vertically across the window (to help keep the birds from flying into the kitchen picture window), perch there, and look in at my cat.

I actually managed to catch a picture of it taunting my cat as if it were saying “Na na! You can’t catch me!”

You Can't Catch Me, Cat!

I think the bird enjoyed the little game, but it frustrated Abby.

Until next time…
